(AsiaGameHub) – Scientific Games has secured a seven-year agreement with the Minnesota Lottery to upgrade its technological infrastructure, substituting outdated systems across both physical and online channels. This deal includes an option for a three-year extension.
The firm stated it will implement a versatile, cloud-centric solution via its Momentum platform, which is designed as a unified suite of tools and services to enhance sales results.
“We utilized a forward-thinking method for choosing technology that would facilitate future progress and ethically increase our funding for initiatives that benefit the people of Minnesota,” remarked Adam Prock, Executive Director of the Minnesota Lottery. “Our goal was to find contemporary technology and a partner-focused solution. Scientific Games shared our perspective on expansion.”
According to Scientific Games, the implementation will feature its core gaming system, the SciTrak distribution system for scratch-offs, the gem | Intelligence portal for retailer management, and the INFUSE analytics platform. Furthermore, the company will provide SCiQ digital displays, WAVE terminals, and PlayCentral self-service kiosks throughout the lottery’s retail network, alongside a digital second-chance promotion system integrated with its CRM software.
“Transitioning systems necessitates a robust partnership and extensive teamwork. We are committed to collaborating with the Minnesota Lottery team to ensure a smooth launch, positioning the Lottery for long-term success,” stated John Schulz, President of Americas & Global Instant Products at Scientific Games.
